Pros

Interesting work, technically challenging and sophisticated. Work with some of the best minds in the business. Compensation and benefits can be decent, if your manager sticks up for you.

Cons

Very poor life-work balance. Poor management, often mandating impossible targets and chewing out teams that can't achieve them. Clash of differing cultures, largely unresolved, leading to a working style of confrontation instead of collaboration. Employees are treated like slaves, or at least interchangeable commodities. There is pressure to not increase head count, accompanied by ever-increasing workload. No bonuses or salary increases in the last year. HR continually tries to stiff the employees, short changing them on salaries, raises and reviews. HR tries to run the business too.

Pros

Leading edge semiconductor manufacturing company diversified into multiple growth markets. Excellent pay and benefits. Employee morale and enthusiasm is high. Values work/life balance.

Cons

Generally, a younger workforce with limited outside company experience. The parking lot is large and full usually requiring a long walk to the main entrance.

Pros

Very supportive team and management to work with from the beginning. Many training classes need to be taken in moving forward to align with the company policies and technical procedures. Good benefits and competitive salary. Have a very positive plan for long term career and educational support tuition. The interview and hiring process are long but informative and responded promptly.

Cons

There are many training classes to take so it may put more stress on a new hire if you do not have a good plan.
