the location is far from major things (airports, city ...)

The environment at GlobalFoundries is amazing. Everyone wants to help each other and is very friendly/supportive. Interns have a main project and might have other smaller projects they work on over the summer, and the mentors do a great job of providing guidance and feedback on challenges.

Sometimes there is a large lag in work resulting from mentors being too busy with their own work, or when waiting for other full-time workers to get an action done that the intern needs
