Pros

There are a few really talented people still left working in Malta but they are feeling defeated and are looking to leave.

Cons

The fab has gone from looking like a start up world class fab to looking like a college campus. Management and HR think that by hiring as many recent college graduates (with no work experience) that they will succeed. (And by no experience, I mean this is their first job ever, or the only other job was at a fast food restaurant) These recent graduates are being hired at higher pay and higher job grade than people with 20 years Experience.

Pros

Very supportive team and management to work with from the beginning. Many training classes need to be taken in moving forward to align with the company policies and technical procedures. Good benefits and competitive salary. Have a very positive plan for long term career and educational support tuition. The interview and hiring process are long but informative and responded promptly.

Cons

There are many training classes to take so it may put more stress on a new hire if you do not have a good plan.

Pros

Everyone is willing to help and the training is actually good training

Cons

If I didn’t know someone that worked since I was going to overnights I didn’t really meet anyone on my team except my manager once. Also I wouldn’t know who to reach out like manger wise if I didn’t know someone who already worked here
