Pros

If you're from across the country they'll give you a fat relocation package and a higher salary than the 4 year veteran thats training you The toxic morale has actually created a sense of unity amongst the technicians who equally resent the company that woukd rather buy them out than promote/keep "the good ones"

Cons

The culture that has been created is that the experienced hard workers are seen as annoyances by their coworkers who are vindicated when everyone receives the same review score to fit into the bell curve. The culture of mediocrity has been well established for sometime now even before the recent "were not doing so well" state of the Union address from upper management. No reward for those who actually contribute, youre given the same rating (3) as the guy that just shows up to clock in no matter what you do Hard workers don't work hard because they've learned every review period its just a lost cause. Hard workers are actually ridiculed by their lazy co-workers who don't do anything.. "what are you doing all that for, youre not gonna get above a 3 anyways" Its near impossible to get promoted unless you're a woman, then you get a high rating and a promotion just for being able to do almost as much as the men you work with. The raises, promotions and merit increases are so pathetic that brand new hires make more than technicians who stuck it out here since startup. I've trained over 20 new co-workers since working here, almost all of them make more than I do. Yes we talk about what we make get over it. If you complain about making less than the new guy you're labeled as a bad apple who isn't a "team player".

Pros

Great team in Burlington. Diverse technology portfolio provides endless opportunity to learn.

Cons

Non-revenue support groups have small budgets and are seen as cost-burdens. Raises and promotions are behind the industry.
