Pros
They provide good overall benefits, you get to learn new things, sometimes you need to work on different projects simultaneously, get to interact with some great-minded people who wrote patents, launched satellites from Soyuz
Cons
They often prioritize contractors over employees in some teams, most of the times you are not even involved in the meetings that is related to your project: you need to proactively ask what are all the changes to come for the new release, or you will come to know it by a third person, not the manager. They sometimes promise to make you work on some interesting and new projects, but it never happens in the end.
