I was looking for my first job but couldn't find one. I'm 21 and just finished uni. I applied to run a Calendar Club store and got it! I was really happy. It was very hard work with long hours but I learnt so much and made excellent money - far better than working in a menial job. I loved it too. Dealing with customers and making sales was so much fun. It no doubt helped me get my first 'real' job after the store closed. It made me so much more confident.

Cons

You do have to be really prepared and organised so if you're not you will struggle. It's pretty full on but rewarding if you put the effort in. If you don't you might not like it.

Management is terrible at communicating Management does not care for their employees though they tend to fake it Lots of backstabbers when it comes to management and the head of HR
