Pros

Nice view of the city from the office space

Cons

If you enjoy being micromanaged, questioned, accused, belittled, not trained, gossiped about and want to go no where fast with your career, then by all means apply for an opening that doesn't match your skill set. Doesn't matter what the job description states or what is conveyed to you in the interview, you won't be doing it once you start. A day in the life of working in the corporate office would be, having the department directors and CIO talk down to you, talk behind your back, blame you for something you didn't do or deliberately work against you. How about being put into tears by the director, who usually is acting like a childish, egotistical brut who doesn't know how to treat people correctly. And his boss doesn't appear to know how to reign him in (meaning his management skills are weak). I guess Epic doesn't develop managers well or at all. Also, it doesn't matter if you go to HR, they won't do anything. They solely exist to have the backs of management. I did notice this during my time here is how many people are hired because they have a pulse, not because they're in the right job fit and because most are willing to work for less than market salaries to have a job. This last part meshes perfectly with "we run a lean model here" and instead the business model should be "we're so tight we squeak".

Pros

Great team culture with supportive colleagues and opportunities to make a meaningful impact. I appreciate the autonomy in my role and the ability to partner closely with leaders across a variety of functions. The work is fast-paced, engaging, and rewarding, and I have felt trusted and supported in my role. Leadership is committed to providing quality care and fostering a positive employee experience. Overall, it has been a great place to grow professionally and contribute to a mission-driven org.

Cons

As with any growing organization, some processes could be streamlined, but overall it has been a positive place to grow professionally.
