Pros
Working here will definitely test your ability to take abuse and learn when NOT to stand up for yourself or fellow employees, and keep you humble, in regards to classism. You are NOT better than, or as good as... You will learn that any fairness you are treated to, must come from within, and require no validation or recognition from anyone or anywhere else. You will learn to survive on the least amount of money, someone can make in this industry, with no backing from union or management. Creativity and determination will be something that you must exercise with vigor, and gain no reward, other than knowing that you have accomplished a gain in karmic balance. You will learn to hide illness, grief, anxiety and truth, from your managers on all levels. You will learn that others do so, often in large amounts of alcohol consumption, and you will learn not to judge them for this. You will rise in the ranks, VERY quickly, as so many people rush away or are tossed away, in a short period of time. You will learn that "the man" is not your friend, unless you ARE "the man". You will most likely get unemployment, easily, when you are dismissed. There will be no argument, as chances are, you were not dismissed with valid reason or dignity.
Cons
Much like the movie called, Battle Royale. No union representation, even from union reps. FAA rules broken on the regular, by management, crew scheduling and crew members. Unsafe and impossible work conditions. Lawsuits can be costly and drawn out over years because of location of company headquarters, depending on where you were stationed, and FAA investigations, when and if you finally decide on litigation.
