Pros
Clients' needs are prioritized over billing more hours and making money, and employees are valued. Promotions from within are available for staff who are interested, and there is a lot of clinical and operational support for BCBAs and (R)BTs. Benefits, salary, and the culture are great. There are staff bonding events since much of the work is in homes as opposed to a home base like a clinic or office.
Cons
The only con is that it may take a couple weeks to become a full-time BCBA. Area directors and scheduling can help you get there though. It's worth the wait.
