Access to Goldman Sachs research and affiliation with Goldman Sachs. Some fun people to work with. Access to some larger clients.
Cons
Pay is laughable and the excuses for why it is so low is even more ridiculous. Management is about as bad as it gets at a firm. Only the favorites gets promoted, not the intelligent people who actually get things done. Firm is desperate to retain talent. Majority of people that stay are tied to area. Everyone is stretched to their limits on a daily basis with no hope in sight. Zero training for new hires. Only analysts that don't complain live at home with their parents with zero financial independence. Little to no career path for anyone seriously interested in finance.
