terrible toxic culture, no meritocracy or best idea wins mentality. managers are in place because they are either good at the role or have been there a while, NOT because they are any good at managing others. comp is far below market. those who do best are people who come from lower tier schools and feel like this is their big shot and are willing to put their head down, take a beating, and be grateful for getting nothing.
