Company is in a huge growth mode, allowing for rewards and advancement for employees who are driven to succeed. If you are proactive about being part of solution you will thrive with this company. The company recognizes and rewards employees based on team work and individual effort. They are very apt to give responsibility to new team members. They promote within - if your capable and have proven yourself. They foster an own it and improve it workplace.
Cons
Not so much a con but this is a fast paced environment - You need to be used to being at the top of your game and must be very comfortable working under a deadline driven atmosphere. The pace is fast, and for some this is not the place to camp out and coast.
- Managing director, managers, etc. in Indianapolis really seem to care about the well being of the employees
- Management is very willing to cross-train within a department and even in other departments, so employees learn a lot of very valuable work skills
- Management has created a good balance between getting work done when necessary and very relaxed / fun during other times.
- Tons of camaraderie between everyone
- Management really tries to fight for the "little guys" and gives a solid, strong voice to the voiceless.
Cons
- The Indianapolis office seems to be a burden to the Corporate office. Everything is an uphill battle and it's all for no apparent reason. They love to put up roadblocks for us to keep us from succeeding.
- Due to several mistakes made by several groups of people, 80% of the workforce has been or will be laid off due to legislature terminating the program. Also due to the mistakes and carelessness of the same groups of people, we have very little other program to run after the end of the big program.
- Decisions made by the Corporate office seems to be based on factors other than logic and reasoning.
