We've heard similar feedback before and have already made changes to our process. 1) We split the Performance Improvement Plan out from progressive discipline to help those who are not performing improve BEFORE moving to progressive discipline. 2) We just completed the first Manager Development Program with current managers to help mitigate what you describe above. And 3) we have provided more resources and tools for managers so they can better help you. With any change, it takes time to see the changes fully take effect but since we were made aware of these challenges several months ago, we have been able to work on these since.
