Administrative staff is completely overworked and under staffed. Upper management is generally uncaring and incompetent. Good people are leaving left and right and there is no effort to stop it or try to address morale. Career advancement is impossible. Rarely promote from within. Have seen consistent hiring of under-qualified candidates into positions much higher than their experience warrants when internal candidates would be much better. Bonus and review process for administrative staff is an abomination. Bad behavior from "rain makers" is acceptable. Administrative staff is told they cannot say "no" to attorneys. No respect for the expertise and input of the administrative staff.
