Pros

Challenging work, great colleagues. Good benefits, including 18 weeks maternity leave. Supportive of pro bono work, and may extend the 150 hour limit in certain circumstances.

Cons

No different from any other big law firm - you'll be staffed on large cases with 20+ attorneys and won't have much partner contact. They are also a bit secretive when it comes to layoffs - more than 10 associates were laid off as part of the annual review process in late 2014 prior to the larger layoff in April 2015. It was really 30+ litigation associates who were laid off in the last year.

Support staff has been fantastic for career development. Wonderful people to work with and I feel that it has been challenging in a motivational way to keep me developing my skillset.

Cons

I do think that I'm being slightly underpaid but the benefits of working here outweigh that.
