Pros

Work from home, that's it.

Cons

Unreasonable work for the pay. You are expected to be in a new ticket every 2 minutes despite only being paid $13 an hour. They do warn you in training that most people do not like this job and many people quit, but you don't see the micro-management until you get on the floor. If you are x amount of minutes without being inside a phone call talking to someone who doesn't want you bothering them while they're trying to work, someone will message you via teams telling you to get into something and that your follow-up times are poor. It might be good for someone who loves call center jobs, but I see now why they have to go through staffing companies to get people to work for them.

Pros

A lot of good people who do genuinely care. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

Sadly Goodyear is a declining company. The new C-suite talked a big game but company performance speaks otherwise. Market share/volume is declining quarter over quarter and the stock price is being killed. Many long tenured and loyal Goodyear employees have been laid off due to job outsourcing or plan closures. Before taking a job at Goodyear make sure to do your own research on the future of the company. Sadly for such a long and storied brand the future does seem bleak. Death by a thousand cuts….
