Pros

Very flexible with schedule and had great support when needed. Company would also invest into the plant when it made sense to.

Cons

It's a hot and nasty environment in the plant. Not much accountability to operators so equipment would constantly be breaking.

Salary 20-30k higher than local manufacturing companies. Benefits are close to 98% covered by the company. New Occupational Health Physicians on site to track and monitor exposures and fitness for duty which shows they care about the health and safety of their employees. Tuition Reimbursement Company prefers to promote from within

Cons

Required to wear a respirator (Not easy in the Florida Heat) and required to participate in monthly blood draws (Not easy if you are not a fan of needles)
