Pros

Casual dress and laid back environment at the warehouse. Health insurance

Cons

This company is becoming a joke. Too much is expected of the managers and it is extremely stressful, for what? Absolutely nothing. They take advantage of their employees. I get they are a start up but upper management are the most greedy and selfish people I have ever had an encounter with. They pay so little to the people who are in the warehouse day in and day out working long hours and running an entire warehouse for them. The GM salary is a complete joke for all the work and time that is expected of them. We have no power over the drivers and that is extremely difficult because then we are held accountable and scrutinized for bad delivery times. Well, when drivers don’t show up how are we supposed to handle that situation if we have absolutely no control over them. Their lack of care towards their employees leads to lack of motivation and high turnover. They are open on the holidays which also just validated how greedy and selfish this company is. There are millions of restaurants and companies out there that close on the holidays knowing that there could be a few people that go to their restaurant or store on the holiday but they value their employees enough to let them spend the holidays with their families. GoPuff is not a hotel there is absolutely no need to be open on the holidays. For all your employees do for YOU the least You can do as a company is give your employees the holidays off to spend time with their loved ones. Also going back to the drivers being independent contractors we CANNOT force them to work and it’s extremely hard to find drivers who want to work on the holidays as well. MANAGEMENT needs a lot of work and it starts with the ceo and goes down the chain. You guys need to figure a lot of stuff out before you crash and burn.

Pros

Supportive Regional manager for sites

Cons

Lack of Accountability (Passing the Buck): Decision-making often lacks ownership, resulting in frustration and confusion when problems arise—issues are shifted rather than addressed. Unrealistic Expectations with Reduced Labor Budget: Increased performance expectations paired with significant cuts to labor budgets leave teams stretched thin and unable to meet demands effectively. High Turnover Among Operational Associates: The combination of workload pressure and no up-word movement leads to frequent employee departures at the associate level. Burnout Among Site Leaders: Site leaders are overwhelmed by the demands of managing intense workloads with insufficient staffing and appropriate labor hours support, has led to burnout and diminished morale. Insufficient Support Structures: There is a noticeable gap between what is expected of employees and the support (training, tools, manpower) provided to help them succeed. Reactive Rather Than Strategic Planning: Operational strategy often feels short-sighted, with decisions made on the fly rather than through proactive, long-term planning.
