Toxic work environment and favoritism - Operations Associate Gopuff Employee Review

Unfortunately, the people who put the most into the site and care so much are never recognized for the amount of work and effort they put in. I've seen the motivation of my fellow coworkers diminish because management is absent all the time. They don't care they only care about keeping customers happy and not the workers that put in the effort for that to actually happen. I've talked to people who have been working for the company much longer than I have close to two years and haven't seen a single pay raise, which is ridiculous and unethical. I've never worked for a company that didn't give raises after a year, they should be doing the standard industry of doing yearly reviews. This place isn't ethical at all, you're better off working at a big box store than working for this company. They put unrealistic standards for the warehouse, and we're not properly staffed nor properly trained or even have the facility. Before I left I found out after the fact someone at the site had contracted coronavirus and no one knew until that until a month after the whole incident. There is no communication between employees and management and that is not acceptable.
