Great ideas but poor execution from upper level management - Kitchen Manager Gopuff Employee Review

in my own experience, training was fantastic and promoted an empathetic and encouraging work environment but my DM was extremely toxic. she encouraged me to not let employees get "too inspired" when they were excited to share their ideas about how our store could be better run and to essentially shut their ideas down. I sent in the screenshot of this conversation to HR after I quit, but to my knowledge this DM is still in her position after numerous complaints to HR. essentially, the work environment and culture promoted in training is not what it's actually like in the field.
