Pros

the idea was great, the teams are great

Cons

American company, American mindsets when 'looking after' thier employees, it is becoming an Amazon machine. How can you say you have D&I when you have gotten rid of the full department? How can you train your people? to grow in the business when you took away many of the resources? You are bleeding your people dry, emptying departments that bring value, your are losing your intellectual capital. The founders NEVER talk about the objectives for equality, D&I, people's growth. They are turning it into a machine. Their values mean nothing anymore, as they said, you will have to work harder. If you don't like it, it's not the company for you. Their latest communication to the company about the redundancies, lacked empathy, sincerity, but it's ok, we will offer the remaining equity of those we fired to you all, what a cringe moment. It's a male-dominated company with no vision to become a mature and responsible environment. PEOPLE make the business grow, but after the latest meeting they held, we were left hanging our heads in shame and embarrassment, They burst our bubble by their jolly attitude, Party boys with no care for thier people which they never do . It's turning into an Amazon mindset, with an American 'you are just a number' attitude, with nothing to offer except empty promises, a lack of care for those that have worked and sacrificed themselves for their vision. The founders have become unapproachable, unlikable, and it's blatant for all now, the people do not matter. You are simply a cog in their machine.

Pros

Supportive Regional manager for sites

Cons

Lack of Accountability (Passing the Buck): Decision-making often lacks ownership, resulting in frustration and confusion when problems arise—issues are shifted rather than addressed. Unrealistic Expectations with Reduced Labor Budget: Increased performance expectations paired with significant cuts to labor budgets leave teams stretched thin and unable to meet demands effectively. High Turnover Among Operational Associates: The combination of workload pressure and no up-word movement leads to frequent employee departures at the associate level. Burnout Among Site Leaders: Site leaders are overwhelmed by the demands of managing intense workloads with insufficient staffing and appropriate labor hours support, has led to burnout and diminished morale. Insufficient Support Structures: There is a noticeable gap between what is expected of employees and the support (training, tools, manpower) provided to help them succeed. Reactive Rather Than Strategic Planning: Operational strategy often feels short-sighted, with decisions made on the fly rather than through proactive, long-term planning.
