Pros
Most of the fulfillment center employees are nice and helpful.
Cons
Policies differ from fulfillment center to fulfillment center but most people don’t bother to explain that or the differences to you. Especially if someone is new, there should be more of an introduction to how each center runs. It’s summer in Texas with weeks of 100+ degree weather but most people at centers didn’t bother to tell me there was cold water or that I could come on to use the bathroom or wait for orders inside. Even after I mentioned to a couple different people that my car needed Freon and couldn’t get fixed until August 22, it took asking if I could come inside instead of waiting out in the heat instead of them telling me that was totally fine right away. There also seems to be some issues with the system because there have been a couple of occasions where I’m the first driver there for a shift or the first driver back from a delivery but someone that pulls up after me gets an order first. One of the locations said they don’t come out after sunset to bring orders to you because there’s no camera in the back of the building (where we have to pick up) bit then they stop bringing orders out to you way before sunset. Also, if it’s not safe for them to go out the back door with orders because there’s no camera why am I going on and out of the center and my car with orders?!? I just today was told that one of the locations had wifi we could use and cold water bottles in a refrigerator in the break room I didn’t even know about.
