Pros

-There are still a few good people here (for now) -Office space is above-average and in a decent area -Free food and culturally-diverse celebrations -Casual work environment -Post-Fortive world can teach you how NOT to treat people, which will come in handy later

Cons

-Gordian experienced meteoric growth for many years while PE-owned (most recently Warburg Pincus.) It was purchased by manufacturing conglomerate, Fortive, in late 2018. Fortive was a spin-off of Danaher's most unattractive, lowest technology, low-growth holdings. They're focused on buying growth to generate Wall Street favor and cash flow for additional, more attractive acquisitions. This is not good news for technology companies (Accruent & Gordian) who now become... manufacturers? -Fortive is a paper tiger. They tout FBS as "the way." If so, why do your "enlightened" operating companies struggle for low single digit growth? Fact is, they buy innovators and turn them into factories. BS doesn't stand for "Business System," but something slightly warmer and rancid *wink, wink.* It's a hodge podge of generic tools (eg Problem Solving and Value Stream Mapping,) that most large companies use, but not in place of innovation and good leadership. General Electric mastered all of these. Worked well for them.... -Most of Gordian's senior leadership has departed in the the last 12 months. (Hint, hint.) This includes those responsible for growth, interdepartmental diplomacy, and innovative leadership. Those who remain are absent or have been forced to drink from the magic punchbowl. Charts and metrics now matter more than people. Every day is an episode of the Hunger Games for those who've decided not to dust off their resumes -Everyone's now "overhead." Here comes the cost-crunch, folks. Hey, about that bonus... So, that's the OLD commission structure... Here are your new goals. They're slightly more STRETTCCHHH 2% is very good The red on chart 12 of 27 is troubling to us

Pros

Quality work culture, with a very diverse group of employees. Once acclimated, you work independently, managing small to medium-sized projects across the 5 Boros of NYC and will report to Senior Management.

Cons

The client does not have the right people in the right positions, making them very difficult to manage.
