Pros
They offer a 10% employee discount and will SUPPOSEDLY work around your college or second job schedule! Our new store managment team seems nice, but I do not how long this is going to last!
Cons
Where do I begin?? First of all, almost of all of us new hires, were hired in at 8.50 to 8.70 per hour pay range, regardless of how much previous retail or retail merchandising or even customer service exprience that we brought to the table! Secondly, since we are opening a new store, we are scheduled in groups working only 4 to 4 and half hour shifts which means we are only making around about $35 to $36 for back breaking work, the company I guess saves money this way. Thirdly, all of us were told that since we live in Florida and are over the age of 18, the store managment does not have to schedule us for a break unless we as for one and if the store needs at the time allow for it(basically the all of us are not going to see a 30 minute break to rest and eat when this store finally opens!!) Fourth, they want to work in all areas of the store, even if you are not good or confident enough, so if all you know is how to stock the store shelves, they will make your life completely miserable by sticking you up at the registers!! We have already lost 5 people from our new hire group opening this store, this should tell you something!!
