Pros
Most of the 'colleagues' really carried about patients.
Cons
MAGNET status really ruined the inclusiveness of all who worked in the hospital. In 1998 Goshen Health adopted the philosophy of the 'New American Hospital' but Clay Sherman. However, over time Goshen has adapted to it to be forced into abiding instead of taking 'risks' to grow. Leadership has added multiple layers between beside and top leadership. CEO - Randy Christophel and CNO Julie Crossley has driven off many committed caring colleagues (dietary, housekeeping, lab, nurses, APRNs, and doctors (look it up young inexperienced provider groups)) because they have laid the foundation of being the same level of functioning as a university type of healthcare system when this is not and is not in an area of the region it will ever be. Unfortunately the CEO and CNO had provided a very unsecure and rocky environment.
