Pros

Easy job (if you know your subject matter). When students don't show up its a good time to do your own homework and get paid. Low stress levels, Other employees including your supervisors are laid back for the most part. You have access to help in subjects YOU might need help in.

Cons

Low pay, minimal hours, and a tendency for the bosses to try to use you for subjects you don't know anything about (EG: tried using me to tutor finance when I was in the Intro level classes myself).

Pros

The work environment was great. There was a lot of camaraderie among us all. My responsibilities were fulfilling. I received a lot of mentorship from my supervisors.

Cons

The only con was the fact that I was remote in Long Beach, CA. They are based in University Park, IL.

State benefits that help those in the right position

Cons

They coddle under performing workers too much and the make it real hard to let go of them under the guise of some "woke" methodology of giving way too many chances. No wonder the university is losing money with under performing employees doing the bar minimum to collect state employment benefits
