Cons

They do have a 12-month probationary period during which you are not supposed to use vacation time, which sucks. Other than that, I haven't really experienced anything negative yet.

Pros

The work environment was great. There was a lot of camaraderie among us all. My responsibilities were fulfilling. I received a lot of mentorship from my supervisors.

Cons

The only con was the fact that I was remote in Long Beach, CA. They are based in University Park, IL.

Pros

State benefits that help those in the right position

Cons

They coddle under performing workers too much and the make it real hard to let go of them under the guise of some "woke" methodology of giving way too many chances. No wonder the university is losing money with under performing employees doing the bar minimum to collect state employment benefits
