150-200 phone contacts a week—You don’t want to work here. - Academic Coach Graduation Alliance Employee Review

Pros

Remote work (STATIONARY)… don’t let that fool you. It’s essentially a call center setup. If you need their monitors and equipment it’s not a flexible remote job. You’ll be stuck in a set position in front of a computer they provide. But it’s still remote and that’s something…

Cons

Everything. Avoid this place. A WEEKLY caseload of 150-200 students is not ideal. It doesn’t make sense. I never leave these remotes but this place is so ridiculous I had to. They measure your performance on students completing online coursework. Again, not realistic and actually unfair to employees. The interview process itself is a red flag. They hardly knew my name. It’s not a serious interview. It’s 30 mins and they don’t give extra time. It begins with “depending on how you answer my questions determines the amount of time you have to ask questions at the end.” That isn’t a seriously professional corporate environment. Something is better than nothing. If you need a job take it but do not stop applying to other opportunities. Lastly, the way they respond to and read Glassdoor reviews constantly is also a red flag.
