Pros

Middle management has tremendous institutional knowledge. Brand has a long reputation of best in the market

Cons

Multiple red flags here with recently installed senior management. New CFO is extremely inexperienced in his position. He’s essentially a glorified line item accountant, so strategically, is lacking experience and ability. The new CEO has the ability but not the gumption to strategically grow the business. He needs to make the difficult operational choices to lead the company to the next level. My conclusion was to depart a company I enjoyed immensely, not because middle management wasn’t competent, rather, incoming senior management and operations lacked the experience and international aptitude to run a publicly traded company in multiple markets and industries. As someone deeply involved, I left because I wanted to be in a growth focused company.

Pros

This is a fantastic company with a culture that consistently improves. Our new CEO has incredible energy and is a true catalyst for growth; it’s exciting to see how they are accelerating the business. Senior management is approachable and strong, and there is a genuine sense of happiness among the staff. One of the best parts about working here is that leadership truly listens—my opinion always counts, and my manager is incredibly supportive and open to feedback. If you're looking for a place where you can make an impact and grow alongside the company, this is it!

Cons

While the company is evolving quickly, there are still some legacy systems in place that can feel a bit "set in the past." We have been working on upgrading these platforms for a couple of years, but the transition is a slow process. Additionally, because many employees have been with the company for decades, there can be some natural resistance to new ways of doing things. It requires patience and a persistent attitude to drive change here, as the shift from "how we've always done it" to modern processes is still a work in progress.

Pros

Work life balance with understanding leadership for flexible schedules (some people work 7:30-3:3, 8-5, 9-6, whatever works best with your personal schedule!) No two days are the same, which keeps the day and job interesting. Autonomy over my work and how I structure my workday. Ability to WFH 1 day a week.

Cons

Some systems or workflows could be more streamlined, along with some outdated systems.
