Pros
They offer some good benefits.
Cons
After leaving the company for the same position somewhere else, I realized how under paid my position was. Making almost double doing the same thing as an IT analyst. I know 6 people who all worked at Grainger headquarters for a long period of time and have left in the last few years. EVERY single one can't believe they stay there for so long and no one regrets leaving. Someone told me yesterday "it was like walking eggshells all the time." I completely agree. Do not for Grainger unless you are completely selfish and want to continuously watch your back. Management there ultimately cares for themselves and they pretend to want to "grow" their teams for people to advance. The culture is stuck in 1970. Do yourself a favor and look for a company that truly cares about employee happiness.
