Pros
Grange was a good place to work. They are a family friendly company, their benefits are probably better than a lot of companies out there. The regional management staff is usually pretty fair & always recognize employees who excel.
Cons
One of the worst parts about working at Grange was that there were cases where the regional manager would disappear for extended periods of time, leaving the office unsupported in a time of need. The behavior of known problem employees were never address, but ignored. A lot of strict measurements were put in place that made Grange feel more like Progressive than the family friendly company that we all came to work for. Lastly, if you work in a Grange field office and are not willing to move to the home office in Columbus, OH, there is very little room for advancement.
