Pros

Grange has a really great culture, everyone cares about their employees and provides support; which is especially important, and sometimes difficult, to execute in a hybrid environment. The offer options for the work environment to suite the associates needs, full remote, partial remote/hybrid, or in office FT. Obviously depending on the role some associates must be in office, however that is a very small percentage of the total. They are good about setting the priority for associates and providing support to help with stress, great recognitions (with a variety of ways to execute), and an overall good atmosphere.

Cons

Like every other company we have a lot going on. Many projects, heavy workloads etc. Many efforts are underway to look for opportunities to be more effective and streamline, in many cases this is seen as something good. A few instances there can be some position eliminations; when/if that is the cases a good support system is in place for the associate to help with their next steps/options.

Pros

Business causal environment when we have to go into the office

Cons

Constantly adding high paying directors and made up positions but you keep shrinking the people that are responsible for bringing in the business that actually make money. More and more are promoted to these glorified secretarial roles that are not needed but keep reducing the amount of underwriters. You could hire several underwriters for one of those high salary positions.
