Pros
You learn new things every day, and I don't mean in the 'every day is different' way you hear a lot. I feel like I learn real skills every day about interpersonal relationships, tools like Excel, Salesforce, data analysis. Colleagues are incredibly caring and it's possible to make friendships around the globe. The products we deliver help to make a difference to residents, not just the organisations who purchase them from us - and I used to be a customer so I can vouch for that. Incredible benefits such as Headspace meditation app, work-from-home allowance, private healthcare. Recognition of achievement comes naturally - I feel genuinely appreciated by my manager and colleagues for the work I do, and this is recognised through feedback and salary
Cons
Sometimes it can get a bit noisy with all the various means of colleagues getting in touch via things like Slack, and you need to set your boundaries and switch notifications off - there's no repercussions to doing that when needed.
