I want to thank you for taking the time to write this review, we appreciate and encourage all feedback. I am really sorry that your experience here at Granite did not match our intention of being the best place you have ever worked. We are taking your feedback and addressing all the places we missed in delivering you a positive experience here. We wish you the best of luck in your new role and hope that you find the environment that you are looking for. We strive to create a company where all of our employees feel valued and empowered to succeed and grow with us. As we are still a young company who has grown to over 2,000 employees, we have set ambitious goals that may have lead us to losing sight in creating a positive work experience for our operation teammates. Our CEO is dedicated to addressing our concerns, as he has hosted lunch meetings to openly discuss areas we could improve and change. We have taken initiative with updating our weather policies, creating more parking, providing different vendors for lunch on Fridays and so on. We take our employees feedback seriously and will be addressing the concerns you have brought to our attention.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
