Pros

Decent PTO and 401k match. Collegial environment of young ppl, nice gym and company sports leagues.

Cons

Big brother, 8-5 hours for 99%, mandatory 12-1 lunch. Management too concerned with the symbolism of hard work over results. Granite just announced employees can work from home 2 days a month to take advantage of a corporate tax break but no monday or friday so hopefully your kid just gets sick mid week. It really comes down to an obvious lack of trust from management. This lack of trust takes a toll which is not free. Best contributors want to be judged by results of their craft, not by some phony measure of what is considered hard work.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
