Pros

Good stepping stone job to get you used to an office or corporate environment…. Don’t stay too long

Cons

-boys club. Upper management is terrible. Middle management is terrible -miss the mark on when they do try “inclusion”. Juneteenth 2021: “Tomorrow, on Juneteenth (June 18th), Granite Teammates are welcomed to leave 1 hour early to remind teammates of the freedom given to our black ancestors.” Who thought that was okay? -terrible cross-department collaboration. Trying to work with some repair reps in other departments is difficult, a lot of attitude with NO accountability -just another cog in the machine -Sales people are revered to a disturbing amount. -shady billing practices. Offers services at a “discount” but overcharges. -don’t even know how Granite Grid is even legal. It’s a monopoly that chokes out small businesses. -Fact: you can’t be in good moral standing and also feel good about the way this company conducts its business.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
