Pros
There were a few coworkers (non managers) that were great guys whom i got along with great.
Cons
Oh lordy, where should I even start... Hmm, oh I know! No matter how inclement the weather may be Granite will not close and they will expect you to be there. If you call in because there's 5 feet of snow and you literally can't get to work you will be charged a vacation day. By the end of this past winter I had used all of my vacation time simply because I was not physically able to come into work. Second, management is pretty silly on the PBR Team/at Granite. You will be disciplined in the most condescending fashion imaginable for the most ridiculous things, that more times than not, aren't even your fault or are within your control. You'll be treated like a child pretty much. Third, they will pay you next to nothing, you'd be better off donating your time to charity... Fourth, the entire company culture is that misery. No one I had spoken to at Granite enjoyed working there or was enthusiastic about thier job. I have been on two interviews since I left Granite and both interviewers started by saying they've interviewed people that have worked at Granite and everyone they had talked to said how much they hate Granite. Granite Telecommunications, your reputation precedes you! P.S. I'd just like to point out that Granite has apparently been posting fake 5 star reviews to offset all the real 1 star reviews. Anything about a 1 star review you might as well assume it's fake. Prospects, take my advice and steer clear of the PBR Team and Granite, or misery will find you!
