Pros

Granite is a dynamic and fast paced company that seeks to aggressively grow on a year to year basis. Granite averages over $100 million in growth every year- this results in incredible opportunities for those who like to work hard and make a difference. If you are goal focused, honest, hard-working and intelligent you will be able to rise up through the ranks very quickly. The company seeks to make major investments in the career development of the top performers with the goal of growing the employee and the company at the same time.

Cons

The expectations are very high at Granite- if you are looking for a 9 to 5 type of job this place isn't for you. If you want to work hard at a company that rewards your efforts and actively invests in the top performers then Granite is definitely worth a look.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
