Pros

Supervisors are respectful of your time-off requests.

Cons

Management does not care about their subordinates. Anyone who is not at least at the supervisor level is basically an outsider, and is subjected to whatever the department leadership plans for them. Promotions are not granted to anyone that has shown any sort of disagreement with management. Supervisors and leadership will not hesitate to lie to their subordinates to get what they want out of them. Pay is not competitive at all. Many people here can barely afford to live in the city of Quincy. Management will delay promotions for months on end - I've heard of many promotions that were "approved" and dragged out for many months before being put in place. This company will lie to you from day one telling you there're plenty of opportunity to advance within the company. While it may seem so on paper, don't be fooled. You'll likely have to start from an entry level position if you department hop. And, in order to advance within your department, you have to befriend your boss(es). Hard and honest work and going 'what should be considered' above and beyond will not get you anywhere, if you're not one of the favorites. Department/team restructures and operations processes get changed all the time. You may spend hours learning how to do something one way, and then within a couple of weeks, it has to be done an entirely different way. All that information you just spent time learning is now obsolete. Department/team restructures impact each employee's ability to advance within the company - not so much for the supervisor, but for the subordinates on the team who have to spend many extra months building rapport and displaying competency. Operations departments are structured poorly and are constantly feuding with each other. It feels like working at a high school where each department is its own clique. It's hard to make friends with anyone here outside of your cubicle area, because everyone is always in a bad mood. It's really quite mind-boggling that such a profitable company uses no time, money, or resources to improve the quality of life for its employees. It goes to show where company leadership's heart is. I know there were people at the supervisor level that wanted to do more, but they were handtied by their higher ups. I and so many others deserved so much better - you do not deserve us, or anyone who puts this job as a priority in their lives. Note to anyone who is considering a role here... read the employee agreement before accepting the job. There is a reason why it's so long. Read every single line!

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
