Pros
I made decent tips per client base price which was surprising. If you take the extra time, easily get a $10 tip on a $12 cut. I was able to maintain full time hours for my entire work experience there. The clientele is built already, so you stay busy most of the time.
Cons
Keep in mind, you will be punished for taking an extra few minutes with customers, and will not get lunch, or paid properly. I had 12 years experience, and great retail sales, but found it impossible to maintain 10 min haircuts all day. You have to answer the phone, check people in during cuts,no receptionist, and check your clients out in less than 12 minutes or you will be fired.
