Great Minds Response

Thank you for recognizing the talented co-workers and the flexibility staff have to move throughout the organization. We do have very talented individuals that work hard to fulfill our mission of defining and encouraging content-rich, comprehensive curriculum for all schoolchildren. We believe great education is the foundation of a great democracy and we believe that every child is capable of greatness. To meet the needs of our talented staff, our total compensation, benefits and salaries are quite competitive in the DC non-profit space. We do respect our employees and encourage open dialogue on issues so that they can be addressed. The organization is working hard and on tight deadlines as an entrepreneurial start up organization. No doubt we can improve the work-life balance in some of our rapidly growing areas of our organization and we continue to strive to make these changes as the organization continues to grow.
