Pros
The curriculum really is superior - far above other competitors' products - and the people who work on it are passionate about creating the best possible curriculum in the time they have to complete it. All of the employees - from entry-level workers all the way to upper-level leadership - care deeply about the mission and are interesting, educated individuals. The health benefits are stellar once you get past the deductibles, and you can work remotely. The HR team in particular is really responsive and friendly.
Cons
The onboarding training for employees seems like an afterthought rather than a methodical process. Working remotely causes issues with team-building, especially when there are so many projects and each meeting is packed with logistical to-dos rather than building camaraderie. Work-life balance can be nonexistent, especially with so many deadlines that are rushed. Because it is a rapidly growing company, there are growing pains with position delineation over who is responsible for doing what, and when. Upper-level management is working on many of these issues, but it needs to be conveyed to middle management and lower-level employees as well.
