Pros

I've had the pleasure of working alongside fantastic colleagues who are not only skilled but also kind and hardworking.

Cons

The director level and above mistreat and overwork the team, claiming inclusivity while failing to address gender pay disparities – a stark reality where female employees earn significantly less than their male counterparts. As a manager, I've been placed in the uncomfortable position of having to let go of talented individuals due to directives from above, while witnessing favoritism in retaining underperformers. Even though I am in management, leadership frequently provides directives from above that I disagree with but risk losing my job if I speak out on. The recent mass layoffs under the guise of a "reorg" appear to be a result of financial mismanagement rather than strategic restructuring. Adding to the disconnect, the leadership's decision to announce layoffs and financial struggles in the same call as office renovations and a new dinosaur installation raises eyebrows. Unfortunately, this pattern extends to directors and above, who consistently treat their teams poorly and micromanage. Despite the inspiring camaraderie among colleagues, the overall experience is marred by questionable leadership practices and a lack of transparency.
