Pros
Co-workers are supportive; opportunity to learn different aspects of service. Benefits, especially tuition reimbursement, are decent. No weekends for the most part.
Cons
Supervisors not consistently trained, so there is no "right way" to do a job. Penalized for using vacation time by having unrealistic productivity requirements. HR will write up staffers who speak out about unfair treatment ("poor attitude"), setting people up to be let go without getting their accrued vacation time paid out. If someone leaves with less than two weeks notice, they don't get PTO. Underhanded other treatment designed to keep people in line. Many unhappy long time employees, especially in support services. Mid and lower level employees are not treated as valued.
