Pros

- GreenSlate cares about its employees and shows it on a regular basis. - Work sponsored events/trips (local and company wide) - 8 hrs of paid volunteer time off (to volunteer at a nonprofit once a year) - 1 floating holiday paid off (to use for any holiday we do not close for) - PTO (and you're encouraged to use it too!) - Free company gear and an allowance once a year to get more. - Monthly credits to use on holisticly.co (gym memberships, spa services, food delivery services) - a great easy going team that is friendly and willing to help out when you have questions - utilizes Slack to have channels between departments for easy communications as well as some social fun ones - they care that each employee has a good work/life balance

Cons

The health insurance options could be a little better; however, I appreciate there are multiple plan options that are actually affordable unlike many companies I have worked for in the past.

Pros

During my time at the company, I had the chance to work with some truly talented and dedicated people. I gained valuable experience and took pride in the work we accomplished together.

Cons

After nearly a decade of commitment, I was laid off during a company-wide reduction due to an industry slowdown. The way it was handled was deeply disappointing. The layoff was announced over a brief Google Meet call where no one was allowed to ask questions or say anything at all. It felt incredibly cold and impersonal. After giving so much of my time, energy, and loyalty, it was devastating to be let go in such a distant and dismissive way. It made me feel like all those years of contribution meant very little in the end.
