Pros
Some very good and talented people trying to the right things where possible and/or allowed.
Cons
This company has done a complete 180 degree turn over the last 2 years. HR absolutely runs the show, and not in a good way. I have never seen a business bog itself down as bad as Greene Tweed with it's own internal politics. HR is literally in the middle of everything, and insist on forcing unqualified business advice to management on a consistent basis. The culture used to be very innovative, and employees were rewarded for taking risks. Now senior management are all scared to death for their jobs due to the new CEO, who seems to think all American labor is crap. The turnover rate was astonishingly high, and I blame that on the recruiting team being a group of very good sales people. I have never been a part of an organization with so much potential, and then see implode as fast as it seems to have done. The competition are literally hiring all of the good talent away from Greene Tweed with little difficulty. Honestly I left for less money at the time just to get away from the nightmare. Great move though, because I am finding that the competition actually pays more on increases and better bonus structure. Yes I survived the Tweed, and happier now at work than I have been in the last 6 years.
