Pros
Small staff, very intimate, can talk to or get help from anyone at any time. Fun crew, people meet up after work. Tons of opportunity to make a difference without being "fenced in" by your job title. Management is approachable, genuinely cares about making the factory run better, and makes a huge effort at regular, meaningful communications with the staff. Privately owned company. No debt. Bends over backwards to avoid layoffs.
Cons
Small staff also means that everybody has a laundry list of tasks that can take a long time to complete or just don't get done. Too many operations handled through emails & phone calls instead of a system. The whole job training and documentation process was bad, is getting better, but still has a ways to go.
