Pros

You get full benefits, commission and a good amount of freedom while working, and the job will get easier the longer you do it!

Cons

You may get paid $14-15 an hour however after taxes that's only $850 every two weeks (at least in my area) while working 40 hours a week. You might as well be working at a Subway or Starbucks with that kind of paycheck without including bonuses. Which at your busiest month's may only be getting $500 in bonuses every other week, that may seem a lot or a little to some, but you are doing a lot of work to get that. The property I was at always told us "we should be lucky to have them as manager because other managers are so much worse." Even though they weren't very professional and tried to get my team against each other, out of boredom. Our regional isn't very helpful or nice and I feel like they could do a lot more for us, but if you don't pretend to "befriend" your upper management colleagues to get to the top at Greystar you won't go anywhere. At least in my region, it makes me really sad too that even how much we do for our property we couldn't even live there and its standard living.

Pros

-Great networking opportunities. -Good IT support. -Great benifits. -Great employee housing discount and housing opportunities. -Commissions will make your paycheck worth it.

Cons

-Management is broad and impersonal. You may feel like a number. -Your workload can be a lot at times. if you work well under pressure, you'd succeed here. -The leasing season is not year round meaning you will have slow months and you will have good ones. Save in the good months to get through the slow ones. -High turnover. Resilience will get you far. -It's rare that you get your weekends at a company like this.
