Pros
Smart and ambitious people with good industry knowledge and dynamic thinking. Interesting work and tasks with lots to learn in a short space of time.
Cons
Under resourced with too few staff to do the work, spreading everyone too thinly. Disorganised with many tasks mistakenly required ‘immediately’ with no good reason and meaning knee jerk reactions to tasks, reducing productivity and quality of work. Elitist and narcissistic culture with long working hours on evenings and weekends but little appreciation and respect for these efforts. Lack of training, formal processes and time to learn.
