Pros
I am fairly new to the company, but thus far, the good seems to outweigh the bad. My pay is much better than it was with my previous company ( in the same field) and my bonuses seem to cover the cost of my health benefits. I am lucky enough to work under a community manager who is supportive, encouraging and treats me more as an equal than a subordinate. She uses my missteps as learning experiences and I am quite confident that I will be able to progress with the company as promised during my interview with her assistance. The size of the company allows for the ability to transfer to a vast amount of other locations throughout the states. Training is thorough and you are provided with an ample amount of resources to review information and policies.
Cons
The accountants are so slow to pay our bills that we end up receiving weekly calls from vendors trying to collect payment. Renovations isn't ordering all of the supplies and appliances needed until the very last minute and apartments are in turn not completed on time for new move ins. The indecisiveness of the design team inhibits projects from being completed in a timely manner. It took WEEKS for a decision to be made on a door for our new leasing office. The use of OneSite, PowerPro and Lead2Lease simultaneously is redundant. The amount of required contact with prospects is borderline stalker-ish.
